Why do wrestling fans like John Cena?

Personally i think his wrestling character (white rapper, soldier, tough guy) sucks. He may look ok (crappy marine style hair-cut though). He walks like a gorilla with a pole up its behind with his arms at each side. He's got no entertaining personality or charisma. He's rhyming rapping jokes are ridiculous. His wrestling style is pretty boring too. A lot of punching and kicking. I got turned off wrestling and disgusted by how they killed any respect to wrestlers that have gone through hard times to get where they are by immediately giving him a push by winning nearly every single match and having him always as champion beating all the top names. Still this ridiculously massive push has not helped him to be any more enjoyable to watch. The only reason i have heard why some fans like him are ones that are female and say he is hot. Please dont answer this question if your going to say he is hot. Wrestling style answers only.

The storyline writers are the ones who decide which gimmick a wrestler is going to use..

It is not Cena's fault to have that gimmick..

It is also not his fault to have that many pushes..

He brings a lot of money to the WWE, and Vince is probably thankful, so he wants him to go after the title..

Seriously, people should start respecting his hard work and passion to the wrestling business, because he lives to entertian you people, even though he only gets insults back..

And I do not watch him/wrestling for looks..

Because he's a solid, entertaining wrestler. While he can be embarrassing on the mic, he's more charismatic than most of the wrestlers in the company, that's for sure. Plus, he's had some great matches so far, ones against Umaga, HBK, Edge, Triple H, Randy Orton, heck, he even helped Khali to a match that didn't make the world implode, something only Undertaker %26amp; Finlay, both tremendous wrestlers, have been able to do.

He wrestles a brawling style, that's why it's punches and kicks. If you hate Cena for that, then you should hate the Rock %26amp; Austin %26amp; Foley too, because they employed the same style. Besides, movesets don't mean a thing, if you're a good wrestler, then you can work with a thousand holds or a couple of strikes and slams, and Cena has done so.

And Cena's big push is all due to the writers, many of whom panicked over the less of the biggest wrestlers and pushed all of their young guys straight to the top instead of letting them take the ropes in the midcard, and plus if new wrestlers don't work, they simply drop them instead of letting them ride the wave.That's why people like Cena, Orton and the younger guys seem so awful yet pushed to the top when compared to the Attitude Era guys, because they were never fully developed for a top spot and now the WWE decides who the next top star will be instead of the fans. So now we're stuck with Cena enternally at the main event because he sells, and the WWE have no other new top face to back him up.
