Short hair?

I just got my hair cut to right above my shoulders so im not really used to it and i have curly hair like spiral curls...how should i style it so it doesnt look so blah and like i dont just wake up out of bed?

buy some clips and play with them. pin up the middle section above your forhead back...that makes any bad hair day look good. with enough pins or clips you can put your hair into a tiny bun too. in the summer your gonna want to get it all off your face probably. and it will look cute too. depnding on your age and your hair color you can play with different colored clips from the drug store (you know, the little kid ones...they are in style with short hair) so have fun!

After you wash your hair, make sure to use a good mousse to bring out your awesome curls. Mabey a cute updo would look nice, leaving a few spiral strands around your face or behind your neck.

If you had much longer hair and then had it cut to shoulder length and don't like it. It could be your simply are not used to it or it was not cut right. Curly hair is difficult for some to cut. I would suggest layers, not short layers but staggered layers. So you don't have that "big poof" at the ends.
