i have longish dark brown hair [all one length] that has always parted down the middle
i want to change my hair style to maybe a side parting and maybe get a fringe cut in
every time i part my hair to the side it seems to look too thin on one side
do i just need to get it done professionally or what??
also if you have a side parting which side is it parted at?
thanks
Hair help-changing parting?
Well it depends how thick your hair is normally and also how much hair your parting to the side.It possibly looks thin because your hair has been in a middle parting for years, so it's not used to being in a different shade. But if your wanting to get a fringe cut in aswell, then I think you should go to the hairdressers and get it done.
Sorry if this wasn't much help to you

Get your hairdresser to cut it with a side parting when you next go and that should help. That's what I did when I changed mine from a centre parting to the side and the new cut really helped and made it fall like that naturally.

if you're getting a fringe cut for the first time you should definitely get a professional to do it.
i have a side parting which is parted at the left so the hair falls over to the right side of my face. you should try different partings when your hair is wet as it will hold better like this.
test out which side suits your face best, this will take a bit of experimenting, and ask your hairdresser what kind of fringe they recommend.
:D

It will be like that for a while untill it adjusts its self to sit in the way u want it.
Your wasting your time going to a hairdresser just to get ur hair parted.
The best thing to go is part your hair and either tye it back in a low pony just to train it to sit.
I done it with mine as my parting is fine.
