i'm getting my hair cut very soon, and have been drawn back to the inspiration of samaire armstrong, and her pixie cut, (recall first season of the O.C.)
so i have a picture of a cut that is very close:

but that picture isn't very good to show as ref. if anyone has any pictures of her pixie cut (with long bangs, or short bangs, doesn't matter, i like both of those styles from her) it would be really great :) thanks!
and please don't say google or yahoo. that doesn't narrow it down too much.

Samaire armstrong's pixie cut?
I'm sorry, but she looks just like she climbed out of bed and
didn't look in the mirror before getting her picture taken. It
doesn't bear any likeness to what I think of as a pixie cut.
The true pixie came out during the 50's and Shirley McLaine
was the one to introduce it. I think. Otherwise it was the actress who played with Elvis, in King Creole, but she had the
even bangs and it was longer at the sides like a flapper from
the 20's. I think of Lisa Minelli as having the perfect pixie. I
like the jagged or pointed bangs and the wisps brushed
toward her cheeks and they are pointed also. And I think the
hairline is shagged a bit now, but it isn't even either. More
short shagged and pointed ends. I've been trying for years
to find someone to cut mine that way. And they all nod and
say, "yeah, yeah, I know what you want". And then at the end
there I am, looking at myself and seeing the same old chop
job, just done by someone else. Too bad I'm not ambidextrious, or I'd cut all of my hair. All I can get to is the
front and sides tho, and I can't shag the crown or the hairline.
What's a girl gonna do, huh? LOL.
If you can find someone that follows exactly what you want,
go for that look. It is so cute and look at the years it would
take off of an older person too or a chubby face.
