My current hair gel isn't cutting it, I'm currently going for the faux hawk hair style. My hair gel currently isn't strong enough, I have about an inch length hair and it struggles to stay up, also I cannot touch it at all or else my hair's form becomes undone. Anyone know some extremely hard gel that has lasting and holding power.
P.S dun recommend glue I know its the strongest stuff, just not pratical
Hair gel with strongest hold?
I do my light styling with the new P-Prov men's line. You can get it at target, the orange stuff is my favorite.
For Faux hawks, try some of J-Crews Cream. It comes in a disc shaped container and is white. Best stuff I've used for a hold. You can find it at most general salons and some commercial markets.
Hair gel with strongest hold?

Hair gel with strongest hold?
Go to a salon and ask for hair glue (this isn't actual glue like Elmer's glue, just very thick gel). My younger brother uses it and has great results.
If your hair is too thick to stand, also ask about getting it thinned. That will help with the hold.
Hair gel with strongest hold?
Use some protein gel. It's mainly used to hold cornrows together but I used it in my bro's hair (he has a faux hawk) and it stayed stiff and when touched, it didn't move. You can get it at the Dollar General for about $5.
Hair gel with strongest hold?
got 2 be glued....
or-
i know you said no glue.. but i used to work with a guy who would do these giant like 5 inch long spikes and he said he used old fashioned white elmers school glue and he siad it was the only thing he could find that would hold his hair and washes out like a regular gel.... depends on how bad you want your hair to do this certain style i guess...
or you could PLASTER it with a super hold hairspray....
but that really sint very practical either
